Viva AIME Carnivale promises spectacular Gala Dinner

A spectacular night of entertainment is expected when AIME 2006 presents Viva AIME Carnivale, a journey through the jungle beats of Africa to the fusion of Brazilian dance rhythm and acrobatica.

“Thanks to the support of sponsors Crown Ltd, Staging Connections and Instinct Music, the AIME 2006 Gala Dinner is going to set a new standard in entertainment and networking,” said AIME Event Director, Rosemarie Sama. 

“We are privileged to work with three of Australia’s leading entertainment providers to allow our international and Australian Hosted Buyers and trade visitors to gain a glimpse of the high quality special events that Australia can produce,” said Rosemarie Sama.

The AIME Gala Dinner is held on the second night of AIME, 14th AsiaPacific Incentives & Meetings Expo. It is attracts around 1,000 international and Australian delegates and exhibitors.

Viva AIME Carnivale will see the newly refurbished Palladium at Crown set ablaze with a kaleidoscope of colour, lighting and atmosphere. The Palladium’s stunning makeover, including a A$1.6 million technology upgrade by Staging Connections, will add a touch of luxury amidst mind blowing sound and spectacular lighting effects.

The Carnivale will be able to utilize the Palladium’s fully automated projection system, six retractable digital screens and high resolution Barco projectors; a fully distributed audio system; and a spectacular fully programmable lighting effects system.

Jennifer Trethewey, Staging Connection’s GM for Victoria said “This year’s Gala Dinner will be like no other: spectacular, rhythmic, international, sexy and fun. It will transport you to a carnivale, immerse you in different cultures and draw you onto the dance floor.

“As well as great talent and a romantic and very sexy dance theme, there will also be some spectacular new lighting effects.”

Talent for Viva AIME Carnivale is a tightly held secret by Instinct Music, who is sponsoring AIME for the first time.

Instinct Music supplies entertainment for the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games Athletes Village, Club Nab VIP Commonwealth Games Celebrations and for companies such as Cadbury Schweppes and L’Oreal.

AIME 2006, 14th AsiaPacific Incentives & Meetings Expo is at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 6 and 7 June.
