United Airlines launches 'The States on Sale' Special Fares in Hong Kong

Travel News Asia Wednesday, 15 November 2006

United Airlines has launched ‘The States on Sale’ special fares for Hong Kong customers.

Running until 8 December 2006, Hong Kong customers can enjoy special United Economy roundtrip fares to any one of United’s 210 destinations in the U.S. with one additional stop over for as low as HK$5,800 on weekdays or HK$6,300 on weekends. The special fares are valid on United, United Express or Ted except code share flights.

“We never stop looking for ways to introduce competitive deals to our Hong Kong customers,” said Andrew Stephen, General Manager, Hong Kong, United Airlines. “Together with our launch of a new Hong Kong to Washington D.C. one-stop flight last week, the special fares we’re offering now are part of our continuous effort to benefit a market that we feel is important to us.”

United’s new Hong Kong to Washington D.C. one-stop flight offers same day arrival and the convenience of further connections to 49 onward U.S. locations. United also announced this October that commencing April 2007, it will launch three additional nonstop flights from Hong Kong to San Francisco, increasing the total number of flights on this route from 7 to 10 per week.

Hong Kong customers can accumulate points and enjoy benefits from United’s Mileage Plus program with ‘The States on Sale’ special fares as well as the new Hong Kong to Washington one-stop service.
