Special Fares under Sin$ 2 as Tiger Airways hits 2 million passengers mark

Tiger Airways has hit its 2 millionth passenger mark. Mrs Sunee Supasitthumrong of Bangkok, Thailand, flying on TR112 Singapore – Bangkok on 13 December, was the lucky 2 millionth passenger. Mrs Supasitthumrong was flying back to Bangkok with her daughter, Suchaya, after visiting her husband who works in Singapore.

In an awards ceremony at the Budget Terminal departure lounge in Singapore Wednesday, Tiger Airways Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Rosalynn Tay presented Mrs Supasitthumrong with Tiger Airways flight vouchers worth Sin$888, a hotel voucher from its hotel partner Octopustravel worth Sin$1000 as well as a pair of tickets to the Singapore Zoo, and meal vouchers at the Night Safari’s newest attraction, Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant. The lucky winner also received an acknowledgement plaque recognizing her as Tiger Airways 2 millionth passenger.

To celebrate the milestone event with the other passengers of TR112, each passenger on-board received a Tiger Airways goodie bag courtesy of the airline. 

As part of the celebrations, the airline launched special low fares. Customers can book between 14-17 December 2006 for travel between 25March – 27 October 2007 on:

Singapore - Hatyai, Phuket, Krabi from Sin$1.88 (one way excluding taxes and fees)
Singapore - Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Udon Thani (Vientiane) from Sin$5.88 (one way excluding taxes and fees)
Singapore - Darwin, Macau from Sin$8.88 (one way excluding taxes and fees)
Singapore - Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City from Sin$29.98 (one way excluding taxes and fees).
