The Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB) has appointed Ms Nikki Seymour-Smith as General Manager, Marketing and
Communications.
Ms Seymour-Smith worked with the Adelaide Convention & Tourism Authority, Australian Majors Events (now Events SA) and was also
instrumental in the establishment of major Adelaide events including the Clipsal 500 Adelaide and the Tasting Australia Festival.
She has run her own business, See More Solutions, for the past five years and built a client list including the SA Government (Department
of Trade & Economic Development), Classic Adelaide, Ford Motor Company, Southcorp, BHP Building Products, Magic Millions and the
Adelaide Cup Carnival.
She has also been a lecturer in tourism marketing and associated subjects at Adelaide TAFE and the international Le Cordon Blue
cooking school.
Ms Seymour Smith will commence with the MCVB in mid January 2007.
