Grosvenor House Dubai Penthouse Suite now available for short-term lease

Travel News Asia 1 March 2006

Grosvenor House Dubai has just released its penthouse suite to the market for short-term lease.

Available for between AED18,000 and 30,000 a night ($5-8,000), the penthouse covers the whole of the 45th floor of the contemporary five-star hotel, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows revealing a 360 degree view of Dubai.

The 798 square-metre penthouse is only accessed by private lifts, and has a dedicated butler, as well as use of a personal chef if required.

Pam Wilby, general manager of Grosvenor House, said, “Our apartment suites have been named the World’s Leading Hotel Serviced Apartments, but the penthouse hits new levels of luxury living.

“It provides the ‘wow’ factor without glitz; instead the penthouse really is the epitome of good taste, providing minimalist chic, but with maximum service.”

Decorated throughout in cream and chocolate brown, the marble floor and sweeping entrance hall open into a vast reception area, office, boardroom and dining room, as well as three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with en-suite jacuzzi.

Commissioned marble and rock crystal sculptures are placed throughout the suite, while the wood and leather furniture are a classic, masculine touch.

There are two kitchens – one main kitchen and one for guest use – which are fully equipped right down to an ice machine for impromptu celebrations.

Technology is discreet yet seamless; the penthouse has wireless high-speed internet access, as well as large plasma wall-mounted televisions with access to the cutting-edge NeosTv in-room entertainment network.

NeosTv is an interactive digital information and entertainment system that delivers movies-on-demand with DVD functionality, as well as high-speed internet through the television. In addition, the system offers electronic guest services, web radio as well as music on demand.

Guests of the penthouse - as with the rest of the hotel and apartment suites - have access to the facilities at Grosvenor House, including Retreat health and spa. They also have ‘sign and dine’ facilities across the 13 restaurants and bars at Grosvenor House and the 14 outlets of Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai.

Grosvenor House, Dubai, has 422 rooms, suites and apartment suites offering stunning sea and marina views. The top 11 floors are dedicated to the Grosvenor Club, premium executive accommodation, whose guests also have access to the 44th floor dedicated lounge.
