Domina Hotel Group appoints Jean Patrick Thiry as Managing Director

The Domina Hotel Group has appointed Jean Patrick Thiry as Managing Director. In his new role Mr Thiry will be responsible for the commercial and operational aspects of the group and will be based in its Milan Headquarters.

Domina Hotel Group offers a portfolio of luxury, upscale and mid-scale hotels represented by four distinct brands: Domina Inn Hotels, Domina Hotels & Resorts, Royal Media Hotels & Resorts and Richmond Grand Hotels & Resorts.

Over the last five years, the group has established more than 35 hotels in 12 different locations, with many other properties currently under development.

“I am excited about the opportunity to assert Domina Hotel Group as a well-known hotel chain among its competitors,” said Mr Thiry. “Through perseverance, knowledge and innovative processes, small companies can achieve great results and I strongly believe that innovation will be the key of our success”.

Mr Thiry joined Domina Hotel Group in March 2005 as Vice President Area Manager Africa and Indian Ocean Division. Prior to that he had a distinguished career in the hotel industry, including being Area Managing Director of Starwood French Polynesia, Vice President Hotels Eurodisney and General Manager for Sheraton and Forte Hotels & Resorts in locations such as Israel, France, Monte Carlo, Morocco, Egypt, Barbados and Italy.
