Håkan Ericson, who has been a member of SAS Group Management and responsible for the Airline Support Businesses business area since October 1, 2005, announced on Thursday that he is resigning from the position.

Håkan Ericson has been appointed president of Loomis Cash Handling Services, a Securitas company.

"Leaving such an exciting company as SAS after a short time is naturally unfortunate, but the offer from Securitas was something I simply could not refuse," Ericson said. Ericson will leave his position at SAS on August 31.

Airline Support Businesses is a business area in the SAS Group that has annual sales of approximately SEK 15 billion and 10,700 employees.  The business area includes SAS Ground Services, SAS Technical Services, SAS Cargo, SAS Flight Academy and SAS Media.
