The Marriott Singapore has appointed Ms Vivian Tung as Director of Marketing Communications.

Vivian Tung

Not a novice to the hospitality industry, Vivian has been with The Regent Singapore and the group of hotels under Far East Organization where aside from overseeing property-specific communication strategies, she was also involved in the marketing campaign for the 5 hotels as an unprecedented umbrella brand.

At her most recent stint in Goodwood Park Hotel, Vivian helped launch the refreshingly modern dining concept of Min Jiang restaurant at the much talked about Rochester Park, to much success of editorial coverage from the media.

Collectively, she has close to 10 years of experience in communications, out of which the initial years were spent in the financial/insurance industry at American International Assurance. Driven by a passion for marketing and communications, coupled with her personal interest in consumer and lifestyle products/services, Vivian ventured into the retail and FMCG sectors, firstly joining furnishing giant IKEA and then established bread company Gardenia.

Vivian holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in double English, from the National University of Singapore. Thereafter, she pursued a Masters in Communication Management at the University of Technology, Sydney.
