Tiger Airways offers thousands of FREE Seats to celebrate move to Budget Terminal in Singapore

Tiger Airways is celebrating its move to the new Changi Airport Budget Terminal by offering free tickets for travel to its many exciting destinations.

Tiger Airways, is offering free seats between Singapore and seven of its destinations. These include popular Thai beach destinations of Krabi, Hatyai and Phuket, West Sumatran city of Padang, Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi, Danang, the gateway to historical Hue and Hoi-An and Australia’s Northern city of Darwin.

Booking starts today and continues over the weekend until Monday 13 February 2006. The travel period is from 26 March to 30 April 2006. Free seats are available for travel both in-bound and out-bound of Singapore.

“We are really excited about our move to the Budget Terminal where specially tailored facilities will enable Tiger Airways to achieve greater operational efficiency. This allows us to reduce costs significantly so as to be able to offer more low fares! We want to share the new Budget Terminal experience first hand with our savvy customers and what better way than giving them free seats to try it for themselves,” said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis.

Tiger Airways flights will take-off from the new Budget Terminal on 26 March 2006. The Budget Terminal is expected to give a major boost to Singapore’s regional aviation hub status. The new terminal offers free internet access and local phone calls as well as automated teller machines, money changers, televisions and food and beverage outlets. Keeping in line with the fuss-free configuration, the compact terminal has one check-in hall, a transit lounge, 18 check-in counters, seven departure gates, 10 aircraft parking bays and three baggage claim belts.
