Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) has
promoted Rosemarie Sama to the position of AIME Event Director. Ms Sama, who is based in RTE’s Sydney office,
has been Exhibition Manager of AIME - AsiaPacific Incentives and Meetings Expo - since April 2003.
Paul Kennedy, Group Exhibition Director, RTE, said,
“Rosemarie’s contribution and commitment to AIME has been exceptional. AIME continues to go from strength to strength under Rosemarie’s management and I am
sure her professionalism and enthusiasm for AIME will enable the event to develop and grow even further in the future.”
Ms Sama jointed RTE in 2001 in the position of AIME Head of Sales and was responsible for record sales for AIME 2002 and 2003. She was promoted to AIME Exhibition
Manager following AIME 2003.
Ms Sama has more than 12 years experience in the business travel, incentive and meetings industry, having held senior sales and marketing positions with leading
venues. She held the position of Business Development Manager for the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau from 1993 -1996. She has also worked as a consultant
to the industry including to leading hotel groups, a luxury cruise line and venues.
