Sydney Travel Agents invited to a Taste of Tahiti

Search ASIA Travel Tips .com 9 March 2005

Sydney travel agents are being invited to a special breakfast and flight with lunch by Air Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Tourisme, as the two prepare for the launch of non-stop flights between Sydney and Papeete, twice weekly from 9 July.

Agents are invited to celebrate Tahiti Week by attending the “Taste of Tahiti” breakfast next Thursday, 17 March, followed by a preview flight aboard an Air Tahiti Nui Airbus A340-300 aircraft, visiting Sydney on a special promotional tour.

The working breakfast (and traditional performance by Tahiti’s most famous dance troupe, Les Grands Ballet de Tahiti) will be held at WatersEdge Restaurant, Pier 1, 11 Hickson Road, Walsh Bay, Sydney, from 7.30am until 10.15am, when agents will be transferred by coach to Sydney Airport to board the special flight.

So agents can make a meal of their tiny taste of Tahiti, a range of special travel deals will be launched during the workshops.

Places are limited for this event, which also will include a range of tour operators and travel companies from Tahiti, senior members of Air Tahiti Nui and its majority shareholder, The Government of French Polynesia, and local and Tahiti-based executives of Tahiti Tourisme.

To register for the event, visit www.tahiti-tourisme.com.au/nonstop. Participants may register for the trade breakfast only, or for both breakfast and the promotional flight. Places are limited
