Per Aquum Resorts & Spas
has appointed Marc Gussing as Director of Operations at Huvafen Fushi in the Maldives.
Originally from Sweden, Marc
takes on the role of co-ordinating the operations of Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Transport and Spa.
With over ten years experience across a range of operational sectors, Marc is more than qualified to ensure the smooth running of the resort and maintain the high
standards already in place at the first class property.
Marc joins Huvafen Fushi from St Anne Resort in the Seychelles, where he held the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. During his tenure at St Anne Resort,
Marc headed a team of 70 staff and was directly responsible for both the operational and administrative functions of all five food and beverage outlets.
After completing his schooling in hotel management in Switzerland, Marc’s career has taken him to America, Monaco, Israel, France and The Seychelles. This diverse
multi cultural experience makes him the ideal candidate to take over the role of Director of Operations at Huvafen Fushi where an understanding of both island life and
values of a world class resort are essential.
