Travel News Asia 9 February 2005

A number of Dusit and Royal Princess hotels have joined the JAL World Hotels (JWH) marketing program, which offers special discounts and JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) basic and bonus miles to JAL passengers and JMB members.

“We are pleased to be hotel partners of both the JAL Mileage Bank (JMB), JAL’s frequent flyer program, and JWH, with all our properties participating in JMB and some of them also joining JWH,” said Mr. Khampi Suwanarat, Chief Operating Officer, Dusit Hotels & Resorts (DH&R).

Japan over the years has consistently ranked in the top two countries in terms of number of arrivals to Thailand.

Mr Seiichi Iwasaki, Regional Manager, Thailand, Indochina & South Asian Subcontinent for Japan Airlines, said “JAL are delighted to welcome the Dusit and Princess hotels into the JAL World Hotel Program, because of the strong brand recognition they have in Japan, and for the high quality service they provide”.

Dusit and Royal Princess Hotels that are participating in JWH include The Dusit Thani Bangkok, Dusit Resort Hua Hin, Dusit Resort Pattaya, Dusit Laguna Resort Phuket, Dusit Dubai, the new D2hotel Chiang Mai (opening mid 2005), and Pathumwan Princess Hotel Bangkok.
