Hong Kong Express Airways appoints Commercial Director

Hong Kong Express Airways has appointed James Yeung as its Commercial Director. Joining the airline’s management line up from his most recent position of General Manger South East Asia for Hong Kong Dragon Airlines (Dragonair), James will assume responsibility for all Hong Kong Express commercial activities including sales and marketing with immediate effect.

Since starting his career in 1974 with Cathay Pacific where he remained for some 27 years, James has worked extensively in sales and marketing and customer services as well as ultimately having overall responsibility for airline business in different countries and more recently within his role as General Manager Commercial of Dragonair, responsible for all commercial matters.

Commenting on this latest appointment, Mr Andrew Tse, Hong Kong Express Airways CEO said, “We are all delighted to welcome James onboard. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience that I am sure will prove to be of immediate benefit to the team. I wish him every success in his latest challenge.”

Mr Yeung is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong where he obtained his Bachelor and Master of Arts Degree in Transport Policy and Planning. He also holds a Master Degree in International Relations from the Flinders University of South Australia. He obtained his Doctor Degree of Business Administration from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2004. Professionally, he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport since 1987.
