AIME 2006 to host ICCA Youth Forum

Travel News Asia 8 December 2005

AIME, 14th AsiaPacific Incentives & Meetings Expo, will once again host the ICCA Youth Forum on 4 and 5 June in Melbourne, Australia. It will be the sixth staging of the popular forum that brings together young industry professionals from the Asia Pacific region to learn more about the business events industry’s big picture.

The Youth Forum is a unique opportunity to hear leading speakers who will provide an industry update and share their experiences during exercises and discussions. The Forum also includes attendance at AIME 2006, and the AIME 2006 Professional Development Seminars.

Participation is free to all ICCA members' staff under 30 years of age. Non-members are invited to apply for a nominal registration fee.

“In the past we have had strong participation from Australasia with a limited number of young people from Asia in attendance. In 2006 we would like to see more Asian employers use the ICCA Youth Forum as an incentive for their young employees who are keen to learn about the meetings industry,” said Elizabeth Rich, ICCA Youth Forum Manager.
