Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific appoints Monika Dubaj Director of Development for Southeast Asia

Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific has appointed Monika Dubaj to the newly created position of director of development for Southeast Asia.

Formerly director of development for Australia, New Zealand & South Pacific, Ms. Dubaj will now be responsible for hotel development in the Southeast Asian region where Carlson has substantial hotel expansion plans.

Executive vice president of development for Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific, Mr. Joe Sita commented, “In recognition of the strong growth and development in the business and hospitality industries in Southeast Asia, we need to ensure Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific is properly resourced to capitalise on the opportunities this presents.

“Monika has substantial experience in hotel development around the Asia Pacific region and her relocation to Singapore to work in the regional office will greatly enhance our representation in this rapidly growing part of Carlson’s business,” said Mr. Sita.

Ms. Dubaj has been with the Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific Sydney office for the past two years.
