Holiday Inn Melbourne opens new Executive Floors

Travel News Asia 7 February 2005

The Holiday Inn Melbourne has spent more than A$1 million to introduce new Executive Floors into the property. Situated in the top three floors of the hotel, the 120 Executive Rooms enjoy stunning views over Melbourne’s Yarra River and the CBD.

For the corporate and leisure guest, the fully refurbished rooms offer broadband Internet access and ergonomic work stations. Luxurious soft bedding coupled with a sensuous Holiday Inn bath bomb, a fluffy bathrobe and soft slippers, a complimentary bottle of mineral water, a fresh green apple and the latest newspaper help any visitor feel like they’re at home. Executive room upgrade rates start from an additional A$30 per night.

Mr Douglas Martell, General Manager of Holiday Inn Melbourne said, “We’ve identified a niche within our target market where guests are prepared to pay just a little bit extra to treat themselves to some finer luxuries. Holiday Inn Melbourne prides itself on being able to service all guest needs and this new development illustrates our focus on offering the best guest experience possible”.
