LAN Airlines launches limited time promotion on flights from Australia to South America

LAN Airlines, the national carrier of Chile, is offering special air fares from Australia to 16 South American destinations, from now until Wednesday 16 February.

The special fares are available for departures up to 30 June on each of the four weekly LAN Airlines Airbus A340 flights from Sydney to Santiago, Chile, with onward connections to other destinations.

The airline is offering a roundtrip fare of only A$1,841 per person (plus taxes) from Sydney to Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Bariloche and Ushuaia, Argentina; and Montevideo and Mendoza, Uruguay.

A special fare of A$1,962 per person (plus taxes) is available from Sydney to Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paolo, Salvador De Bahia and La Paz, Brazil.

From Sydney to Bogota (Colombia), Caracas (Venezuela), and Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador), a special fare is available for just A$2,113 per person (plus taxes), while from Sydney to Lima, Peru, the special fare is only A$2,083 per person, plus taxes.

Seats are limited at these prices and conditions apply. Bookings must be made at least seven days before departure.

LAN Airlines, a member of the oneworld airline alliance, currently operates four weekly flights from Sydney to Santiago, via Auckland, and will add a fifth weekly service from July.
