Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts appoints New Development Manager - Asia Pacific

Le Méridien Hotels and Resorts has promoted Ms. Percy Ho to Development Manager – Asia Pacific. Percy will support and assist Le Méridien’s development strategies and initiatives within Asia Pacific focusing on China. She will report directly to Mr. Malcolm Kerr, Vice President Development Asia Pacific and will continue to be based in the Regional Office in Hong Kong.

Percy joined Le Méridien in 1999 and prior to the promotion acted as Development Executive for Le Méridien’s regional office in Hong Kong, where she supported the development team in sourcing and converting new properties.

Within the past 12 months, the development team has been responsible for the opening of new properties in Hong Kong, Siem Reap (Cambodia), Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Properties opening soon include:

- Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu, 292 rooms, opening late 2005
- Le Méridien She Shan Shanghai, 325 rooms, opening late 2005
- Le Royal Méridien Shanghai, 770 rooms, opening early 2006
- Le Méridien Chiang Mai, 480 rooms, opening in 2007
- Le Méridien Bangkok, 350 rooms, opening in 2007
