The
Marco Polo Hotel Group has appointed Ms. Lyllian Poon as Director of Group Marketing Services. Ms. Poon will be
based in the Hotel Group’s head office in Hong Kong.
A graduate of University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, majoring in Mass Communication, Ms Poon was Director of Communications for the Marco Polo Hotel Group
before leaving the group in 1996 to further pursue her career in the field of marketing. She has since held various senior marketing positions with reputable companies
including PCCW, Swire Properties and Vanda Systems & Communications.
As Director of Group Marketing Services for Marco Polo, Ms Poon’s responsibilities include strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of the group’s marketing
and corporate communications activities. She also oversees the group’s reservation network system as well as monitoring the performance of the group’s international
distribution network.
