Peter Tudehope joins Radisson Plaza Hotel Sydney as General Manager

Mr. Peter Tudehope has been as general manager of the Radisson Plaza Hotel Sydney.

In his role, Mr. Tudehope will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the city hotel, which features 362 rooms, a business centre, Plaza Club floors and lounge, eight meeting rooms, a health club and several restaurant and bar outlets.

Mr. Tudehope brings to the role more than 17 years experience in the Sydney five- star hotel market, having held the position of executive assistant manager for the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney (formerly The Regent Sydney) for six years. While managing this hotel, he was responsible for directing the hotel’s AUD$60 million refurbishment and was instrumental in operating the ‘Official Olympic Hotel’ during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.

Mr. Tudehope has prior experience with the Radisson brand, having worked as director of operations services for Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific for a number of years. He was responsible for supporting existing operations as well as managed development projects for several major hotels across the Asia Pacific region, including Radisson Plaza Resort Tahiti, Radisson Resort Fiji, The Regent Beijing and The Regent Ningbo.

Mr. Tudehope rejoins Carlson Hotels Asia Pacific having most recently held the position of group manager hospitality services and marketing for The Amity Group, where he was responsible for overseeing the marketing and operations of 40 healthcare facilities across Australia.

Mr. Tudehope has a diploma in hotel management from Ryde Catering College, Sydney and is a member of the Catering Institute of Australia.
