New Appointments at Six Senses in Thailand and Vietnam

Six Senses has made the following new appointments in Thailand and Vietnam.

Phornphan Padmasankha has been appointed Director. Before joining Six Senses Resorts & Spa, Phornphan served as Corporate Manager and Secretary to the Board of Directors of Rajadamri Hotel, for twenty-two years. For a combined period of sixteen years prior to that, she had lectured at the Biology Department of the Sciences Faculty of Bangkok’s Mahidol University, and Chiangmai University.

Phornphan won a Thai Government scholarship to study at the Imperial College of Sciences, Technology and Medicine in the United Kingdom, where she earned B.ScHon., A.R.C.S., D.I.C., and M.Phil. After joining Rajadamri Hotel, she attended graduate business courses at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration. She is a Graduate Member of Thai Institute of Directors – Directors Certification Programme, Class 15. Phornphan is keenly interested in environmental issues and preventative healthcare.

Marie Giuge has been appointed Director of Sales & Marketing, Vietnam. Marie comes to Evason Hideaways and Resorts in Vietnam from Victoria Hotels & Resorts, an independent French hotel chain, where for the past five years she held the role of Director Sales & Marketing. During this time, she was responsible for the launch and development of the Victoria group in both Vietnam and Cambodia.

Marie began her career in Vietnam eight years ago, after graduating in Economics, Finance and Marketing from Sciences Po Paris, France. She then worked for Exotissimo Travel, a South East Asia inbound travel company, as Travel Agency Manager, before focusing on hospitality.
