Mirfa Hotel in Abu Dhabi launches 'Summer Escape' packages

Travel News Asia 5 May 2005

The Mirfa Hotel in Abu Dhabi has launched a collection of “Summer Escape” packages, valid from May 15 to September 30.

The 50-room hotel, located on the western coast of Abu Dhabi, offers a complete range of recreation and sports facilities, and according to hotel manager Ali Salih, provides an ideal getaway from city life.

“Offering all the amenities for a perfect vacation, Mirfa Hotel’s summer packages are the right price for a night or weekend away. Relax by the pool, unwind on the putting greens or cheer on your favourite team in the sports lounge – it’s a home away from home,” he said.

Rates start at Dh280 net per night (two adults and up to two children under 12 years) in a standard room overlooking the Persian Gulf, or Dh500 net for a spacious Executive Suite. The summer package price is inclusive of buffet breakfast; a 50 per cent discount on food and beverage applies for children 7-12 years, while children of 6 years or younger dine for free.

Guests receive two complimentary drink vouchers upon arrival and daily mineral water in the room.

Late check-out time of 1500 hrs, upon availability, allows guests to maximise their time at the resort and take advantage of the complimentary recreation facilities. Access to the golf and putting greens, as well as two floodlit tennis courts, a volleyball court and fitness facilities is all included.

A swimming pool, along with a climate-controlled children’s pool and play area, round up the activities, with an excellent selection of restaurants and lounges.

“Many families choose to stay in the UAE during the summer and Mirfa Hotel is the perfect way to enjoy time together without travelling too far,” said Salih.

Mirfa Hotel is managed by Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the National Corporation of Tourism & Hotels based in Abu Dhabi.
