Special Christmas inflight experiences with Singapore Airlines

Travel News Asia 5 December 2005

All month long, KrisWorld, Singapore Airline's inflight entertainment system, will be buzzing with an array of festive treats and surprises. The Tweenies, Hi-5 and Barney will lead the kids in carolling on the audiowaves, while famous vocalists Hayley Westenra, Katie Melua and Katherine Jenkins will keep the grown-ups entertained with their top picks of Christmas tunes and memories.

Rousing the Christmas cheer on the screens of all Singapore Airlines aircraft fitted with the Wisemen3000 system will be recent movie hits Christmas with the Kranks and The Polar Express as well as the perennial classic, Christmas in Connecticut (1945); and to tempt the palate, Jamie Oliver will share his culinary secrets on creating an unforgettable Christmas meal in Olivers Twist on the Learning channel.

Travellers in the air on the 24th or 25th of December, can expect to be feasting on yuletide must-haves like roast turkey with chestnut stuffing, turkey and ham with herbed bread stuffing and roast gravy, mince pie and warm Christmas pudding, just as many would have at home.
