Hertz UAE launches New International Reservations

Travel News Asia 4 May 2005

Hertz UAE has launched a dedicated call centre to deal with all international car rental reservations from the country.

The launch of the new International Reservations Centre comes just in time to tap into the summer holiday arrangements of numerous UAE travellers leaving for cooler shores.

A dedicated team of four will now be handling all business and leisure car rental requirements for UAE residents travelling to destinations in Europe, the USA, Africa and Asia.

Headed by Roshan Mohamed, the team has undergone rigorous training to ensure customers are met with a comprehensive knowledge of popular destinations.

“Our new International Reservations team can not only give customers an efficient booking service but will be able to advise on aspects such as hotels, attractions and local rules and regulations at the destinations for which they are booking,” said Bob Farrow, general manager, Hertz UAE.

“This service will also make it easier for customers or their travel agents to manage their car rental requirements, while payments can be made in local currencies,” he continued.

In addition, customers will be able to organise an International Driving License along with their bookings, making it a smooth process when the customer arrives to pick up the vehicle at the destination.
