Mr. Ikuo
Itoi has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Dusit Hotel Nikko, Manila.
Mr.
Itoi
was originally an engineer by profession, having graduated from Osaka University with an engineering degree. At the start of his career, Mr. Itoi worked with Japan
Air Lines’ Engineering & Maintenance, and his last post with JAL was as Director of Maintenance Supply in 1994.
Following that, he decided to join the hospitality business, starting out as Assistant General Manager of Hotel Nikko Osaka in 1996.
Other highlights of his hotelier career were as Assistant General Manager of Hotel Nikko Nana Grand Castle, Okinawa, and then as General Manager, Hotel Nikko Kansai
Airport, Osaka, which was his last post immediately prior to his present appointment in Manila, the Philippines.
