China Southern Airlines appoints new General Manager Australia

China Southern Airlines has appointed Mr James Liu as General Manager Australia.

Mr Liu, previously the airlines General Manager Japan, replaces Ms Annie Ye, who has transferred to Los Angeles to commence her new role as General Manager USA for China Southern.

In his new Sydney-based role, Mr Liu will be responsible for China Southerns sales and operations in Australia.

The airline currently operates daily Boeing 777 flights from Sydney to Guangzhou and twice weekly flights from Melbourne.

From Guangzhous new Baiyun International Airport, China Southerns Australian flights connect with onward services to points throughout China, including Beijing and Shanghai, and beyond to Paris, Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
