KLM cityhopper to launch scheduled services between Eindhoven Airport and London Heathrow

Travel News Asia 4 February 2005

KLM cityhopper is to launch scheduled services between Eindhoven Airport and London Heathrow on February 7, 2005. Until recently, these services were operated by Air Exel.

This service will be operated with Fokker 50 equipment Monday through Friday, departing from Eindhoven in the early morning and returning from London Heathrow in the evening.

KLM cityhopper earlier launched scheduled service between Amsterdam and Maastricht on February 1, 2005, after its wet-lease contract with Air Exel was terminated earlier than anticipated. Originally, the term of the contract extended until the start of the summer schedule on March 27, 2005. This date was brought forward at the request of Air Exel and after due consultation.
