Abacus
International has appointed Mr Craig Fong as Vice President, Non-Air Content Associates.
Mr Fong
has more than 30 years of experience in the travel and leisure industry, having held senior appointments at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel &
Towers , Hospitality Marketing Concepts and Sitel Corporation. Prior to joining Abacus, Mr Fong spent three years with Singapore Meritus International Hotels as its Vice
President Sales & Marketing overseeing the development of Meritus’ central marketing systems and branded programmes as well as its worldwide sales offices.
Mr Fong takes over from Mr Toby March who will be returning home to Europe to pursue new opportunities.
Mr Fong will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and business plans for Abacus’ non-air businesses including hotels, car rental,
tour, airline packages, insurance, ferry and cruise.
Mr Fong is based in Singapore and will report directly to Mr Don Birch, President and CEO, Abacus International.
