The
Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai is launching an innovative new package aimed specifically at day stop-over guests called the “Shangri-La Siesta” with prices from
AED 394 per person, based on a minimum of two guests.
This unique package is
aimed at both guests stopping over in Dubai for the day en route to another destination as well as local Dubai residents looking for a quick
escape from the hectic pace of life, hustle and bustle. The package incorporates: the use of a luxurious deluxe guest room from 12 noon until 4pm; access to the hotel’s
facilities including the Health Club and resort-styled swimming pool (with swim-up pool bar); a light lunch served poolside (a choice of either a gourmet Vegetarian
Foccacia, Shangri-La Burger or Caesar Salad plus a softdrink/juice) and a 50-minute Chi Balance Massage.
“We developed the Shangri-La Siesta to answer the demands of guests arriving into Dubai in the early hours of the morning and departing again in the evening of the
same day. The package offers a tourist or visitor to Dubai, the freedom to spend the morning of arrival site seeing and then check-in to the hotel at lunchtime, enjoy the
sunshine poolside, use the hotel’s facilities such as the gym, enjoy a light lunch and an invigorating massage; then shower and prepare for the onward journey in the
comfort of one of our rooms.” said Sharon Garrett, director of communications, Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai.
“Based on the initial response from local Dubai residents we are also expecting quite a few people to take advantage of the opportunity to experience the luxury of our
guest rooms, the hotel’s facilities, the spa and lunch poolside as a mini break, getting away without going away. It’s a terrific package to share with a friend and very
affordable.” she said.
The “Shangri-La Siesta” package starts from AED788 per room based on two persons (including municipality fees
and service), is valid 1 June - 30 August 2005 and is subject to availability.
