Tiger Airways celebrates 1st Anniversary with 'Wild Wednesday' Promotions

Tiger Airways, a Singapore-based low cost airline, is offering promotional fares every Wednesday until the end of September 2005 to celebrate its first anniversary of ticket sales.

The airline, which started selling tickets on 31 August 2004, kicked off the promotion today offering a special one day sale with a Sin$1 fare available on selected flights between Singapore and Hat Yai, Thailand. The travel period is September 1 to 30, 2005.

“We are in a celebratory mood and intend to reward our loyal customers with this series of ‘Wild Wednesday’ promotion specials. Every Wednesday in September, we will offer really low fares to one of our destinations during various travel periods.” said Tiger Airways CEO Tony Davis.

Tiger Airways currently flies to 10 cities in six countries - Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Macau SAR, the Philippines and Indonesia. Flights to Krabi, Tiger Airways’ 11th destination in Asia Pacific, will commence on 30 October 2005 as well as pan-regional flights between Macau and Manila (Clark).
