New Novotel Hotel in Kuala Lumpur to open in 2006

Travel News Asia 30 September 2005

Accor is to launch its 4-star Novotel brand in Kuala Lumpur in June 2006, right in the middle of the city centre and main commercial and entertainment hub.

Novotel Hydro Majestic Kuala Lumpur is strategically located across the street from the recently opened Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with all the citys main tourist and commercial districts within easy walking distance to the hotel.

The neighbourhood immediately around Novotel Hydro Majestic Kuala Lumpur offers one of the most dynamic and popular entertainment areas found anywhere in Asia. The 26-storey hotel is near Kuala Lumpurs famed Golden Triangle, the capitals main tourist and shopping district and the Bintang Walk, Malaysia answer to Japans Ginza with its outdoor cafes and trendy shops. It is also conveniently located near the central business district and the countrys iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Guests staying at the hotel will be able to walk to the KL Monorails Rajan Chulan station, which connects with the KLIA Ekspres, the ultra modern direct train servicing Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

The 286 guest rooms will feature a clean and contemporary design, incorporating elements of the brands newest Novation room concept from Europe. Corporate travellers can benefit from staying on the hotels Biz Floors, which will offer personalised check in/out in the Biz Lounge that overlooks the city centre and Twin Towers.

Dining and bar options feature a lower lobby food court, Chinese restaurant, lobby lounge and The Square, Novotels innovative signature restaurant. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre and a spa wellness centre.
