Travel News Asia 30 June 2005

The Angsana Spa Rydges Jamison and Angsana Spa Double Bay in Sydney have launched special “Ladies’ Day” promotions that run until 31 July 2005.

Consisting of the Svelte Special (A$160) and Beauty Special (A$180), the Ladies’ Day promotions are exclusive ladies-only opportunities to have a taste of a variety of unique and beneficial Asian treatments.

The Svelte Special is a 150-minute experience that relaxes the body from top-to-toe. It beegins with a soothing Foot Wipe and refreshing herbal drink, followed by a Trim & Tone Massage. The therapist rounds up the session with a Facial and Mud Mask.

The Beauty Special comprises of two Facials with a 50% saving on the second facial. Each Facial is a 90-minute experience that includes a pampering Foot Wipe and calming herbal drink and a choice of four different facials - Euro Star, Peach Blossom, Empress Veil or Cool Operator, which cater to every skin type.

Opened in 2003, the Angsana Spa at Double Bay offers close to 40 pampering and rejuvenating treatments in a 19th century Victorian house.

The second Angsana Spa in Sydney made its debut at the Rydges Jamison hotel. Within the commercial district and historical suburb of The Rocks and Sydney Opera House a mere stone’s throw away, the Angsana Spa provides an oasis of calm. This spa haven is an ideal hideaway for the cosmopolitan and urban punters who live and work in the area.

The interior design and exterior architecture of Angsana is a spirited juxtaposition that blends contemporary chic with exotic Asian splendour. Signature Angsana hues of orange, lime green, yellow and purple adorn each property.
