Hertz UAE opens new branch in Abu Dhabi

Travel News Asia 29 December 2005

Hertz UAE has opened a new branch in Abu Dhabi.

The new branch is located within the Musaffah area of the capital and Hertz UAE expects it to soon become one of their busiest sites. Customers visiting the new branch can choose from the latest models of a wide range of vehicles from saloon cars to luxury cars and four wheel drives.

All vehicles are fully insured and undergo a 40-point quality check-up prior to handover. Customers can also rely on Hertz’ 24-hour back up service, breakdown cover including replacement vehicles, full maintenance and repairs, and round-the-clock roadside assistance.

The opening of the Musaffah branch means that Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim Group of companies, now has three offices in Abu Dhabi and brings the total number of locations across the UAE to 13. Other branches are located in Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

“Our fleet grew by 30% per last year and our revenue increased by 45%. Expanding and upgrading our network of car rental branches is vital if we want this growth pattern to continue,” said Bob Farrow, general manager of Hertz UAE.
