Rezidor SAS Hospitality appoints Senior Vice President of Marketing, Distribution & CRM

Travel News Asia 27 February 2005

Jacques Dubois has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Distribution and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Rezidor SAS Hospitality with immediate effect.

Dubois will lead the team that manages marketing for all four of the Rezidor SAS brands – Radisson SAS, Park Inn, Regent and Country Inn. The role will see Dubois work with his team to develop the strategic pricing direction of the brands and to develop customer relations across the more than 40 countries in which Rezidor SAS currently operates. The role also sees Dubois sit on Rezidor SAS’ Planning and Revenue and Operations committees.

Dubois holds dual citizenship in both Canada and the United States and began his career in hotel operations with Commonwealth Hospitality following graduation from the University of Ottawa. He started in a franchisee support position under the Radisson brand of Carlson Companies.

In 1995 Dubois was detached from Carlson America to its Brussels based SAS International Hotels (SIH), renamed Rezidor SAS Hospitality in 2001, to assist in the execution of the master franchise agreement between the two companies. Shortly after his move to Europe, Dubois joined SIH full time where he has held positions in operations, sales and revenue management.

Speaking about his appointment Dubois said, “I am delighted to have been appointed to this prestigious position within one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the world. Having been with Rezidor SAS since the Carlson agreement, I feel that my product knowledge will be hugely beneficial in expanding on the company's proven successful marketing strategy.”
