Rezidor SAS Hospitality appoints new Director of Corporate Communications

Rezidor SAS Hospitality has appointed Birgit Borreck as Director, Corporate Communications, reporting to Kurt Ritter, President & CEO, Rezidor SAS.

As Director of Corporate Communications, Birgit's main focus will be on all press and public relations matters related to Rezidor SAS brand development. Birgit Borreck will be based in Rezidor SAS headquarters in Brussels.

Birgit Borreck, who is German, has a solid background in press and public relations with over 15 years of tourism and hospitality industry experience. Starting her career in 1989, Birgit joined Dorint Hotels and Resorts in Mönchengladbach, Germany, where she was appointed Director of Press and Public Relations in 1992. In 2003, Ms. Borreck joined Maritim Hotelgesellschaft, where she was Director of Corporate Communications, until the end of 2004.

Birgit Borreck holds a degree in Economics, specialising in Marketing, from the University of Applied Sciences in Koblenz, and speaks German and English.
