QantasLink expands Canberra Services

QantasLink is to operate an additional return Dash 8 service between Canberra and Melbourne from 1 May, bringing the total number of services operated on the route by the regional carrier to 24 each week.

Qantas Executive General Manager Regional Airlines Narendra Kumar said the new service would operate on Sunday evenings, providing business travellers with the option of arriving in the nation's capital late in the evening ahead of a full day's work.

"This new flight will depart Melbourne at 7.20pm, arriving into Canberra at 8.40pm. The return service from Canberra will depart at 9.05pm, arriving into Melbourne at 10.25pm," he said.
