Accor launches 'Destinations 2005' promotional campaign in Asia

Asia Pacific's leading hotel group, Accor, today launched its new pan-Asian promotional campaign 'Accor Destinations 2005' featuring consumer friendly rates at a wide selection of destinations throughout Asia and the Pacific.

During the initial phase from 1 June to 30 September, Accor Destinations will highlight individual country and cities as well as combined offerings to key outbound markets. For each destination a range of special rates from Accor hotels will be offered, including Jakarta starting from US$29, Bangkok from US$46, Hong Kong from US$38 and Shanghai from US$72.

Accor Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing - Asia Pacific, Ray Stone, said that consumers would also enjoy the added advantage of receiving the best available rate whether they choose to book through their travel agent, booking on line, reserving with an Accor Call Centre or contacting the hotel direct.

"In Asia, Accor is able to offer everything from 5-star luxury to economy hotels, apartment-style to traditional hotel accommodation, often with several prime locations in a single city. The Destinations campaign would utilise a range of distribution mediums including a significant on line presence." Mr Stone said.

On check out each guest departing an Accor hotel will be encouraged to register an entry on Accor's website to be eligible to win a trip for two to Sydney, inclusive of roundtrip airfare on Qantas and a stay at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
