Pilates Expert Lynne Robinson returns to Chiva-Som

Travel News Asia 25 May 2005

From 25 June - 2 July, Pilates expert Lynne Robinson will be visiting Chiva-Som health resort in Hua Hin, Thailand, as guest consultant and will be on hand to conduct group mat sessions (maximum four people) and private one-on-one sessions.

Lynne Robinson is the world’s leading expert on Pilates, bringing Joseph Pilates’ teachings to the modern exerciser. She is a top-selling Pilates author, providing accessible, safe programmes that have revolutionised the way people approach exercises. She has a network of 600 Pilates trainers around the world trained under her expert tuition at the Robinson Pilates Acadamy. These trainers are bringing Pilates to the doorstep of clients around the world. Lynne is rarely available for personal training except to a few very high profile clients whom she has been working with for many years.

Pilates is a form of exercise for body balance that dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels and performs. It builds strength, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. It can even help alleviate back pain.

Chiva-Som is one of the world’s leading dedicated health resorts, recently voted by readers of Condé Nast Traveller UK as the Best Overseas Spa Retreat 2004. A jewel on the coast spread across seven acres of secluded landscaped gardens, located on Hua Hin beachfront on the Gulf of Thailand, “Chiva-Som” which in Thai means “Haven of Life” is a luxurious haven that promotes a healthy balance between mind, body and spirit.
