Dragonair to offer Premium Teas to more passengers

Travel News Asia 25 February 2005

The best in premium, full-flavoured Chinese teas will be available to more Dragonair passengers from March 1. Oolong and jasmine teas from the famed Fook Ming Tong tea company are now also offered to passengers in First and Business Class on all routes.

Meanwhile, passengers in all classes on flights between Hong Kong and Beijing and Shanghai can still choose these teas from the menu.

“The teas have proved extremely popular since we introduced them on selected routes in December, and now more passengers can enjoy them,” said Ronnie Choi, Director Customer Services.

“Fook Ming Tong has a distinctive tea blending and selection process, and so we are delighted to be able to offer more of our passengers these high-quality teas.”

A Fook Ming Tong tea gift set, called “Dancing Butterflies”, is available for passengers on selected flights to buy as part of Dragonair’s duty free inflight service. The set comprises four individually decorated tins of “Yunnan Age Unknown Pu Er”, “Xiwu Pre-chingming Long Jin”, “Zhejiang Jasmine Mao Feng” and “Anqi Super Ti Guan Yin”.
