Emirates launches Vienna Promotion

Travel News Asia 24 February 2005

Emirates has launched new offers on its Vienna route. Starting from 1 March, First class passengers to the Austrian capital can choose between three free nights of hotel stay or a seven-day free car rental; Business class passengers get two free nights or a four-day car rental; and those in Economy class, one free night or a two-day car rental.

Keith Longstaff, Emirates' Senior Vice President Commercial Europe said, "Vienna, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, is vibrant with European art, culture and entertainment and is a magnet for tourists and travellers. Emirates' new offers and attention to detail ensures that passengers can enjoy a hassle-free luxurious stay while having a grand time in the city."

All offers provide Superior single or twin-sharing rooms at the modern Intercontinental Wien hotel, located a short walk from famous and truly Viennese attractions such as the Hofburg Palace, the Opera House, the Spanish Riding School, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the historic bridges over the quintessential Viennese river, the Danube.

Passengers opting for a free car rental can drive away in a mid-size automobile with unlimited mileage, third party insurance, collision damage and theft waiver, airport surcharges and VAT.

To ensure customers start their day right, the offers include a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Valid from 1st March to 31st May, these offers also include all taxes and service charges.

Having started services to Vienna last May, Emirates serves the city daily with an Airbus A330-200 offering 12 seats in First Class, 42 in Business and 183 in Economy. The flight leaves Dubai at 09:10 and arrives in Vienna at 12:10. The return flight departs at 14:40 to arrive in Dubai at 23:05.
