Gulf Air has appointed Mr. John Verhelst as Marketing Manager Asia Pacific. He
is based in Singapore to ramp up the airline’s marketing activities in the region.
Verhelst will oversee Gulf Air’s marketing activities for Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
Prior to this appointment,
he was Marketing Manager with Gulf Air in Australia.
Before joining the airline, Verhelst worked in a number of senior positions including his role as Worldwide Marketing Director for Orient-Express Hotels based in London.
His work in the hospitality and airline industries spans more than 18 years.
“Gulf Air is an exciting airline to work with and I see many opportunities here in Singapore and Asia especially as more people are traveling to the Middle East and on to
more destinations in Europe than ever before,” said Verhelst.
