Millennium & Copthorne International, a Singapore-based hospitality management company which manages more than 88 hotels in 16 countries,
has appointed Mr Dinky Puri as Senior Vice President of Special Duties
and also as General Manager of the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore
(GCW).
Dinky returns
to Singapore from London, United Kingdom, where he was President of Millennium Hotels Europe.
“An experienced hotelier, Dinky has returned to
Singapore at a time when the industry is looking at increasing yield and return. I am confident that in his new role as General Manager of GCW, he will be able to propel
the hotel and its Waterfront Conference Centre to greater heights and profitability,” said Mr Vincent Yeo, President of Millennium & Copthorne International Limited.
A Singaporean, Dinky is a veteran hotelier with over 31 years of hotel industry experience. His extensive experience and distinguished career span over four continents,
including countries such as the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Germany, France, Barbados and Kenya. He
has worked with several international deluxe hotel chains such as Steigenberger Hotels, Oberoi Hotels and the InterContinental Hotels Group.
