Batam View Beach Resort gets S$8million makeover

Batam View Beach Resort, Indonesia, is currently undergoing a major revamp. Located in Batam island, just 35 minutes boat ride from Singapore, the resort is being given a total makeover starting with its 200 rooms.

All the rooms are being fully refurbished in keeping with a modern resort and are being given a contemporary look. The refurbishment is designed to allow guests to enjoy spectacular views of the greenery and surrounding seas from the balcony.

The revamped rooms will have new dressing tables, beds, standing lamps, curtains, TV cabinets and built-in wadrobes with lighted recesses for coffee-making facility and refrigerator cabinets. Guests will enjoy added comfort with the bathrooms featuring improved lighting, new bathtubs, sinks and counter top for toiletries as well as bath accessories.

Plans are also in the pipeline to redevelop other existing facilities as well as to build new facilities that will further enhance the resorts appeal as a retreat with a difference.
