Philippine Airlines releases Holy Week Flight Schedule

Travel News Asia 22 March 2005

Philippine Airlines will operate extra flights to key domestic points while keeping its full schedule of international services during the busy Lenten holiday period.

PAL will add one daily flight to Kalibo during the peak travel dates of March 23, 24, 26, 27 and 28, boosting total flights to the Boracay gateway to thrice daily on these dates. Boeing 737-300 aircraft, which seat 148 passengers, will be deployed in all services.

Frequency to Kalibo remains at the normal twice daily on all other days of Holy Week, including March 25, Good Friday.

For Davao, PAL will operate an extra B737-300 flight each on March 24 and 27, raising total flights to four daily on those dates. The three other flights will utilize widebody Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

For Tagbilaran, the airline will add a B737-300 flight each on March 23 and 28, complementing the normal daily operation there.

For Laoag, a new flight will be operated on March 23 and every Wednesday thereafter, increasing total frequency to five times weekly. B737-300 and Airbus A320 jets alternate on the route.
