Tiger Airways launches 475,000 Low Fare Seats Promotion

Travel News Asia 21 July 2005

Tiger Airways, a Singapore-based low cost airline, is to offer 475,000 low fare seats on sale from tomorrow (Friday, 22 July 2005) starting at 10am (Singapore time) on all its 10 points in six different countries for the year-end holiday season stretching from 30 October, 2005 to 25 March, 2006.

“This is an unprecedented offer of nearly half-a-million low fare seats under our (Northern) Winter schedule. Customers should book early to grab their year-end bargins and avoid disappointment for upcoming public holidays like Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas and New Year’s,” said Tony Davis, CEO Tiger Airways. “Savvy customers will even plan ahead for travel during the Chinese New Year holidays in January 2006.”

Davis added, “The launch of our winter route schedules is an affirmation that Tiger Airways will be around for the long haul in the Asia-Pacific region. We now offer even more low fares for our customers to travel within the region, and will announce new low fare destinations soon.”

The airline is offering nearly half a million seats for sale at fares as low as S$14.98(excluding taxes and charges) to its 10 destinations. Tiger Airways currently flies from Singapore to Thailand, Vietnam, Macau, The Philippines and Indonesia. The special fare are available at tigerairways.com
