Hong
Kong resident Ms Alice Liu, is the grand prize winner of the 2005 Hong Kong Shopping Festival
Lucky Draw.
The
grand prize, a Rolex ladies
diamond watch worth HK$500,000, courtesy of the Oriental Watch Group,
was presented to Ms Liu by Mr William Chan, Senior Director of Oriental Watch Group,
and Ms Clara Chong, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).
Running from 25 June to 31 August 2005, the Hong Kong Shopping Festival Lucky Draw received close to six million entries from visitors and local residents. The
number was the largest-ever for any lucky draw event in Hong Kong, and was equivalent to HK$1.85 billion of spending. Enjoying strong support from local merchants,
the Lucky Draw featured 70 prizes worth over HK$2.20 million.
