Radisson SAS Hotels &
Resorts has appointed Lars Gericke, Director of Sales and Marketing of its
up-coming hotel in Dubai Media City (DMC). Situated amidst Dubai’s bustling technology and communications hub, the hotel will be the first to open in DMC and marks
the return of the Radisson SAS brand to the emirate.
German Gericke, (40), a Business Administration graduate, takes up his new role from the Rezidor SAS Global Sales Office in Frankfurt. With a talent for building
excellent internal and external client relationships, Gericke brings an impressive track record to Radisson SAS with almost a decade of experience in hospitality industry
sales. He has worked with the InterContinental Hotels Group for five years as Director of Sales – Corporate and Business Travel Agent (BTA) and has held other senior
sales positions at leading companies like Lufthansa in Germany.
In his position, Gericke will oversee the property’s marketing programmes in addition to leading the local sales, catering, and reservations teams.
