St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali to open in 2007

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has reached an agreement with PT Pacific Resorts Buana Indonesia to manage The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali. Located in the elite enclave of Nusa Dua, The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali will feature 74 oversized suites plus 29 villas, as well as 25 residential villas available for long-term leases when it opens in 2007.

The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali is the second new St. Regis project announced by Starwood Hotels & Resorts in the first quarter of 2005. The company recently also announced plans to launch a new luxury resort and residential project in Deer Crest, Utah, which will debut in 2007, as a leisure extension of the brand. New St. Regis hotels are also currently under development in Singapore, Anguilla, San Francisco, CA and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Other St. Regis hotels are located in Aspen, Shanghai, Beijing, Houston, London, Rome, Washington, D.C., and Dana Point, California.

The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali will be developed on an 8.6 hectare secluded beachfront site in the Nusa Dua Resort area of Bali, next to the Bali Golf and Country Club, and will be an integrated resort complex comprising hotel and residences.

The launch of The St. Regis Resort & Residences, Bali signifies an important move for the brand into the residential real estate market with exclusive Residences in New York, San Francisco, Aspen, Fort Lauderdale, Anguilla, Singapore and now Bali, currently in development.

Facilities of the resort will include four food and beverage outlets, a 680 square meters spa, outdoor swimming pool and a health club. One of the most impressive qualities of the hotel will be the renowned St. Regis Butler Service, offering unparalleled round-the-clock personal attention to every guest. Trained in the English tradition, the butlers provide ever-present yet unobtrusive service while anticipating guest needs and customizing each guest's stay according to his or her specific tastes and preferences. 

Nusa Dua is located in southern Bali and is well-known for its clean, white beaches and clear water, and offers travelers a wide range of water sports and leisure activities like spa and hiking. Nusa Dua is approximately 20 minutes drive from Bali International Airport.
