Air Arabia to launch flights to Jordan

Sharjah-based low cost airline, Air Arabia, is to launch operations to Aqaba, Jordan from 19th October 2005.

Air Arabia will fly twice a week to Aqaba from Sharjah every Wednesday and Sunday, departing Sharjah at 15:00 to arrive in Aqaba at 17:25 local time. Flights from Aqaba will depart at 18:10 to arrive in Sharjah at 23:25.

Air Arabia currently flies from Sharjah to eighteen destinations: fourteen flights weekly to Alexandria; nine flights a week to Beirut; daily to Bahrain, Colombo, Damascus, Doha, Mumbai and Muscat; six days a week to Kuwait; four days a week to Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh; three days a week to Khartoum and Aleppo; and two days a week to Assiut, Luxor, Sanaa and Sharm El Sheikh.
